Our goal is to offer the highest quality handmade beds, made from the best materials with a timeless and classic design, but most importantly, we strive to give you a really good night’s sleep. We care about the Swedish craftsmanship. For example, all our beds are made in our own factory in Valskog by our professionals. Every bed is checked  until the last detail and all natural materials have been chosen with great care to provide beds of the highest quality.

Our mission is that you can sleep with a good feeling. Our beds are handmade in Sweden and are a wealth of nature. We respect our planet, people, animals and the environment. We can say that sleeping on an Ecolife Bed has much more value than what you pay for it. We assure you that you can sleep with a good feeling, knowing that you choose the best price-quality ratio, but also choose for our planet, people, animals and the environment.

We adapt your bed to your wishes!

Bamboo forest

Bamboo

The bamboo textile is made of natural and fast-growing bamboo. It is grown without the use of pesticides, which makes it more environmentally friendly.
They are naturally antibacterial, non-allergenic and reduce the risk of dust mites. The unique properties of bamboo in combination with agave ensure a cool night’s sleep and offers great support to your body. The bamboo mattresses are free of toxins and are made from renewable raw materials.

Frames and springs

We cherish the Swedish craft tradition and use only natural materials of the highest quality in our beds. Each bed is made by hand by our skilled professionals and all beds are available in different colors and sizes.

Organic cotton

We use the world’s most used natural, strong and durable fiber, namely organic cotton. The main reason we use organic cotton is its softness and breathability. Cotton easily absorbs moisture. This makes cotton very comfortable in hot weather. Cotton is possibly the purest form of cellulose in nature. It is soft, breathable and very comfortable against the skin.

Wood

All our bed frames are made of Swedish pine and have hardened, reinforced corners. This creates a more durable bed and in combination with thick and wide slats a stable bed with a 25-year guarantee on springs and frames.

Steel

The feathers in our beds are heat-treated, so they stay hard for years. All our beds have a pocket suspension system, in which the springs are placed separately in their own pockets. This gives our customers maximum support and minimizes the movements of their partners. The pocket suspension system also eliminates beeps and noise from the bed.

Soft materials

We only use natural materials of the highest quality in our beds. These include organic bamboo, organic cotton and agave. Our materials have been chosen to provide a comfortable, cool sleep with a soft, comfortable feeling on the skin.

VLAS

Flax fiber is one of the oldest fiber crops in the world. It is soft, shiny and flexible. It is even stronger than cotton fibers, but less elastic. Flax fibers are extracted from the bark / peel of the stem of the flax plant. It provides exceptional cooling in hot weather and the fiber also absorbs moisture quickly and releases it. Static electricity also disappears. In addition, flax has a sound-absorbing effect

AGAVE

Sisal has traditionally been used to make ropes and strings for agriculture. Today it is used in a number of different industries such as paper, textiles, carpets and mattresses. Sisal, made from the agave plant, has an airy cell structure that removes excess moisture easily and naturally. It acts as a heat insulator, meaning the mattresses maintain the perfect temperature. The structure also absorbs kinetic energy, meaning it does not conduct sound or movement.

We chose to use sisal because of its animal-friendly properties. Usually horsehair is used in beds to absorb moisture and minimize movement, but we think sisal is the same. Beds made with sisal from the agave plant can be considered a cruelty-free, vegan alternative.

How our agave is processed

To make the fiber resilient and make it possible to create very open and ventilating structures, we spin the fibers into ropes. These ropes are transformed into sheets and provide structure and elasticity.
The manufacture of quality products but natural fibers is our profession. Since the start of Ecolife, we have been using plant-based natural fibres. With our experience in producing beds and mattresses, we read market signals and translate them into new and innovative products of excellent quality.
The open and resilient structure allows Sisal to create a good microclimate (which is an advantage with mattresses). The structure also absorbs sound and certain waves, making the material excellent as a thermal and acoustic insulation product.

We only use the very best natural materials to make our beds Cotton, Linen, Bamboo and Sisal (Agave fibre). Nature is constantly replenishing these raw materials, which are unsurpassed in resilience, durability and ventilation. Ecolife provides a completely environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic materials.

Textile

We use 100% natural materials which consist of cotton (60%) and linen (40%). The properties of our raw materials allow us to produce exceptionally sustainable fabrics. Because our materials breathe naturally, our beds feel fresher for longer.

Our fabric is stonewashed for an authentic feel that is enhanced over time. Every meter of our fabric is unique and is produced with the greatest care.

Rest assured that the bed you sleep in is healthy for both you and the planet we live on.

All our fabrics have a quality label and are approved according to the EU Ecolabel ecolabel. EU Ecolabel is a label given to products that meet high environmental requirements, from the extraction of raw materials to production.
